Rosa Koodai

Wire bags are a familiar sight across Tamil Nadu and many parts of India. Traditionally woven by women and self-help groups using locally available materials.The versatile wire koodai (bag) are primarily used by school children to carry their lunch and water bottle.They come in myriad patterns, sometimes even personalised with initials for easy identification.

For our Rosa Koodai, we have collaborated with a local self-help group in Dharmapuri to create a classic design featuring two symmetrical roses.

Made from recycled plastic wires,
Available in two colour combinations: Black & Red and White & Pink.
